The story
Minnippi is described by the venue as "Brisbane's first public golf course in more than 70 years", an 18-hole course "designed by renowned golf course architects Phil Ryan & Paul Greeves of Pacific Coast Design", alongside a driving range and a new cafe and restaurant. Brisbane City Council lists it as an 18-hole green with a 20-bay driving range, golf coaching and the onsite Cooee Cafe and Restaurant, and states "No membership fees apply to use Minnippi Golf Course." The range itself is published as "26 Trackman bays".
