Accessibility, in the operator's own words: "Due to the heritage nature of the M V Neptune, our vessel is only accessible for folding wheelchairs onboard. The pontoons and pathways are wheelchair accessible. We ask that all customers wait on land before their tours so as not to risk falls or injury while the boat is docking."

The story

"River City Cruises is the original and premier sightseeing cruise on the Brisbane River." The boat is the MV Neptune, "A unique boutique-style vessel that can carry up to 65 guests" with 29 seated indoors, 36 on the main viewing deck and more seating on the bow and aft deck. Day cruises run with a guided commentary past the Kangaroo Point Cliffs, the city centre, the Story Bridge, New Farm Park, the Powerhouse and the riverside homes. The twilight cruise deliberately drops the commentary: "This cruise is thoughtfully curated for a relaxed, social vibe, with MUSIC instead of COMMENTARY (NO COMMENTARY). Picture yourself grazing on complimentary charcuterie boards, reconnecting with friends and family, and soaking up the city lights, all with a glass of wine or a cold beer in hand, if you choose."

Departure and return point is the Cultural Centre Public Pontoon, South Brisbane, walking distance from the CBD and the South Bank area. For rideshare the operator asks you to set the destination as the 'Cultural Centre Tunnel', with entry via Stanley Place.
