The story
The stadium describes itself as providing "Brisbane and south-east Queensland with a 52,500 plus seat capacity, state-of-the-art, world-class stadium", and states it is "situated 1.4 kilometres from the Brisbane CBD and 15 kilometres from Brisbane Airport". It is a public transport destination: "Public transport is the best way to get to Suncorp Stadium and is included FREE* with your event ticket on all Queensland Rail City Network (excluding Airtrain & Ferries) and all Transport for Brisbane Bus Services." Available Monday to Friday between 9AM and 2:45PM depending on the event schedule; not available on weekends or event days, and "No tours will be available from October 21st to March 7th inclusive". At least two weeks' notice is asked for. "Carers and supervising staff are typically free of charge."
