The story
Travel to the streets of Vietnam without leaving Sunnybank at That Viet Place, a restaurant that seeks to emulate the flavours and soul of Vietnamese cooking. The restaurant’s traditional home style Vietnamese dishes are cooked and served by wife and husband team, Quang and Mai Dinh, who have been passionately working in the restaurant industry for the past 20 years. Mai is well known for her homemade fish sauce, which is based on a secret family recipe that’s more than 20 years old. The pho broth is simmered for 12 to 24 hours with different herbs and spices. Need more noodles? The eatery gives free second refills.
